Madden 10 brings about a new technology called Pro-Tak that gives the player complete control of the game at every level. Whether controlling the quarterback and dodging an incoming blitz or controlling a defensive lineman trying to bring down the opposing running back, you have a new level of control that ensures the play goes your way. More players than ever can get in on each play, with up to 9-player tackles. Pro-Tak also brings offers a ton of new gameplay options. Quarterbacks get new dodge moves; the offensive line has new and more realistic blocking mechanics, and much more.

One of the most popular options in previous Madden games has always been the Franchise Mode, which lets players take control of a team and build a winning legacy. Until now, it’s always been player vs. computer controlled AI teams. With Madden 10, however, the competition is moving online. Players can enter 32-team leagues and get an experience that’s as close to running a professional football team as you can get without actually doing it. Players can take part in more than just games – there are also realistic drafts and player trades. This online franchise mode makes it easier than ever to connect with other Madden players thanks to automatically generated league websites and message boards.

Aside from the major gameplay changes, each new generation of Madden also introduces some great new graphical tweaks that help the game look more realistic. Madden NFL 10 gives every player on the field a better sense of awareness, making them follow the ball around with their heads and eyes, just like real players. There are also a lot of little touches, such as new pre- and post-game cutscenes showing players preparing for or cooling down from the game in a variety of ways. You’ll even see the “chain gang” come out on the field to measure close calls for first downs.

Before reverting PlayStation 3 jailbreak you first have to get into the Recovery mode.

For that you need to turn your PlayStation off, after doing this press and hold the power button your PlayStation will on and off again.

Speedlink has come up with a controller that has an Xbox 360’s pad design but is compatible with PlayStaion 3 and not with Xbox 360. They did so by putting the layout of Xbox 360’s controller onto the PlayStation 3’s pad.

It is not the design or layout that has only been copied but the name looks pretty much familiar too as it is named as the XEOX and it will be released this October. There are few more things that look pretty much to that of Microsoft’s, such as instead of the PlayStation key in the middle of the controller you will see a green ring pretty much parallel to that of Xbox’s controller. But this design is already out on PC as it has become a standard design in pads. The only thing that is different from Xbox’s controller is the icons on buttons which are of PlayStation as circle, cross, square and triangle.

It is now upto people either they like it or dislike it. As for me I like it because I loved the Dreamcast controller’s look, it felt smoothly gripped in hands, Xbox 360’s controller is pretty much of the same design in almost all the aspects.

Even if you are a veteran and familiar with the NBA recent series still you will notice that many things has been tweaked out. The IsoMotion control system has been augmented and patched up a little. And if you want to get better at this there is tutorial which offers wide variety of skills and let you go through all the skills and moves, giving a good overview of the game. Players are highly recommended to play through it. Things have been altered quite a lot in NBA 2K11 and the game is all about skills so you got to practice.

You will find that some of the highly skill players are not performing to the best of their abilities, that is because you are not controlling them well. If you wish to advance your skills and game keep your eye on player tendencies. This feature has been put in this year. It helps you to gain full benefit of each player’s unique skill set, pushing yourself beyond the basic skill, gaining more skill points and exploring deeper into the things.

Player tendencies also come in handy when you are up against your opponents. If you are aware about what your opponents are good at or what they like to do, use this information work on it and attempt to prevent it.

Another thing that can help to understand offensive plays is Playbook. To understand it watch the videos in your playbook. The videos are well animated with diagrams that are easy to comprehend with dots and numbers. Skim through it and decided which one best suits you and then work at it by practicing.

On speaking with the developers Ready at Dawn regarding the effort they put on bringing a PSP game to PS3, they acknowledged that it was not an easy task, but you can see the results.

The game been augmented four times in terms of textures and increased the polygons on all models and it was not an easy job  to make a PSP game look good on PS3 but starting with good assets helps said the Senior Programmer Jeremy Nikolai at Ready at Dawn. Not only that all the cinematics were re-rendered to the PS 3 as the using them as it is did not work.

By converting the PSP game onto the PS3 and increasing the resolution also manifested some visual problems, problems that were apparently few pixels on PSP, once augmented to 1080p on the PS 3, proved to be a bigger trouble, so the team of artists sat down and went through the whole of it and cleaned up the spots.

At PAX, I managed to get my hands on Battlefield 3 and it was fantabulous. Just outright an awesome looking game, Battlefield rivaled the FPS giant Call of Duty and after playing Battlefield 3, to be honest even I’m not sure who is going to win, but I have a feeling that it would be Battlefield. After playing a quick sort of demo of Battlefield 3 I can say that the environment looks so exquisite, sound effects are splendid and weapons looked realistic and controls were very responsive. I played the PlayStation 3 version of Battlefield 3and it felt great.

The co-op mode of the game looks great, the co-op mode is totally  based on teamwork and those who do not possess good enough first person shooter skills, like me, were able to manage the task quite well as gameplay is made for both pros and noobs. As compared to previous versions the game really stands out in terms of graphics, atmosphere and gameplay. As far as the rivalry against COD is still a question mark and it can only be decided by time, may the best game wins.

In some of the most major tweaks include the new and improved fighting experience, an arcade the controls are kept simple yet pretty responsive. The timing, mechanics and balance has been augmented and improved to give sensational feeling with every hit.

The fighting arenas has been made to support more combos, they come in different sizes and shapes with variable walls and fences different for different rounds, giving more freedom for combining combos and breaking through the fences with special attacks.
