Heads up people because your favorite character Marcus Fenix is back with more bang in the widely successful third person shooter franchise Gears of War 3, which has certainly made its place in the best game shelve at Xbox 360. The Gears of War saga which commenced back in 2006 comes to an end this fall, with over one million preorders already.
The developers have stick to the basics and have not the single player campaign, meaning thereby that the Gears of War 3 single player campaign is similar to that of Gears of War 1 and 2, with little leftovers of Delta Squad confronting and covering their path against the old enemy Locusts.
Gears of War 3 starts off from where we left off. The situation is even worse than the previous, government has become weakened and it about to fall and those who have survived are integrating to aid each other and fighting against the growing Lambent threat just outside the base. With return of Richard Prescott and confirmation that Marcus’s father is still alive, as seen in the sneak preview, the game sets stage for another epic encounter with aliens.
Multiplayer options have been upgraded and now upto 4 players can jump in and enjoy the co-op mode, besides this ne Beast mode, where you get to play as Locust, ravaging human species and also the enhanced Horde mode in which you are available with more gameplay upgrades to devastate the waves of Locsuts. New multiplayer maps and game types have also been put in.
But the gameplay is same as the previous parts with a little twists and tweaks in story board.
