Electronic Arts announces new game Medal of Honor which will be launched in versions for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2010.
If the first games of the series were placed in the Second World War in the new action title will be moved to Afghanistan, today. Players will control an elite soldier (Tier One operator) that receives direct orders from National Command Authority (U.S. President and Secretary of Defense).
“When we try to reinvent the Medal of Honor, I wanted to remain faithful to realism and respect for soldiers, but to bring action in the war today,” said Greg Goodrich, one of the producers of this game.
Medal of Honor is produced throughout the Los Angeles studio of Electronic Arts, but multiplayer will be developed by DICE, those responsible for the Battlefield series. No details about the future cunos title, besides the cover and the fact that an official trailer will be released on December 12.
