Users who went out and traded up for a fancypants Xbox 360 Elite because they wanted HDMI support may be annoyed to hear about a new device from Manufacturer XMC which (if the rumors are to be believed) will offer HDMI upscaling for old-skool Xbox 360s.

Kotaku has what appears to be a rendering of the XCM cable up over at their site, though the original posting appeared over on Comcast’s Game Invasion.

Apparently the device will move into full production after the initial designs are finalized — somewhere in the next four weeks. Guess that just leaves the big hard drive (and the natty black finish, of course) as the compelling reason to buy one of them thar Elites.
