Hopefully a $50 savings on bundled goodies will win you over.

Sony’s hoping they can get you to buy one of those nifty PSP thingies this holiday season by bundling in a ton of add-ons.

The PSP Entertainment Pack rolls into town on Wednesday, September 13th. What is it? Well, a PSP (obviously) plus a 1GB memory stick and a tag team combo of of EXTREMENESS: ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin’ Trails, and Lords of Dogtown on UMD.

If purchased separately you’d be paying around $300 for all that schwag. The combo’s price tag ($250) saves you around fifty bucks — assuming of course that you were planning on buying Lords of Dogtown in the first place.

“The PSP system’s success stems from its ability to combine console-quality gaming with multimedia applications, and this new package showcases all of the system’s strengths,” says Peter Dille, V.P. of marketing for Sony Computer Entertainment America.

While the PSP system has out-sold all other next-generation gaming handhelds in the period since its launch, we expect this new offering to drive additional consumer interest and sales, particularly as the holiday shopping season approaches,”

Right. So… I suppose the DS doesn’t qualify a ‘next-gen gaming handheld’ then? Not to worry. I’m sure the extreem dealz will entice a gamer or two to finally head on over and pick up that PSP they’ve been dreaming of.

I mean, hey — what else could you possibly want to save up for this holiday season?
