Without a new Twisted Metal, someone has to fill the gap.
Developer Nice Tech sent out word today they’re working on Carnage, a vehicular combat online game, for both Xbox 360 and PC. The genre’s been recently explored via , albeit somewhat unsuccessfully from a consumer standpoint, on the PC, but remians untouched on consoles. Then again, so does the MMO at large.
The game will reportedly feature individual and cooperate gameplay modes with “real-time dynamics and collision systems,” with all the damage tallied via persistent player statistics and global ranking systems.
There’s currently no set release date for Carnage, but hopefully they’ll have a little more success than NCSoft.
