What is this ‘it’ Cliffy speaks of?
On again off again (oh, relax, it’s because he’s busy making Gears of War) 1UP developer blogger extraordinaire Cliff Bleszinski updated his blog talking about “IT.” Nope, that doesn’t mean IT as in those guys who come and fix your T3 line when it breaks or the people you call at Comcast to see why your Internet keeps failing you — CliffyB is talking about the “it” that some games just have.
Everyone wants to know what it is. That certain “je ne sais quoi” that an actress or a restaurant or, say, a game has.
The delta between good to great. The difference between, say, the hot chick on the cover of Low Rider magazine and Scarlett Johansson. There are a zillion girls that are hot in a town like Los Angeles but what is it that a girl like Scarlett has that those other girls are missing?
