Originally an arcade based game the Virtua Fighter, Sega confirmed that it will be launching Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown on platforms like PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
The game has been completely overhauled, every little thing, from game’s mechanics to animations, bringing in new game modes, fighting arenas, new characters and character customizations.
Some of the tweaks and upgrades that are included in Virtua Fighter 5 are given below.
In some of the most major tweaks include the new and improved fighting experience, an arcade the controls are kept simple yet pretty responsive. The timing, mechanics and balance has been augmented and improved to give sensational feeling with every hit.
The fighting arenas has been made to support more combos, they come in different sizes and shapes with variable walls and fences different for different rounds, giving more freedom for combining combos and breaking through the fences with special attacks.
Virtua Fighter 5 gives wide variety of modes to choose from, depends upon what kind of fighter are you? Join in the online battle system to take over the leaderboards which is known for having little latency and pretty responsive controls or battle out arsenal of opponents in new single player mode.

The game is expected to hit the stores this summer.
